Radio Control Cross Country Distance Award Pins

1.

The pilot making the application is allowed a five minute break every one flight hour.

2.

The route can be a straight line or around multiple turnpoints.

3.

Turnpoints must be at least 1 km apart.

4.

The sailplane must go around the turnpoint and the vehicle must be at the turnpoint to verify.

5.

Straight line distance is used between turnpoints, not road miles.

     

Pins are awarded to the pilot (=applicant) only. This means, team members cannot share the flying task evenly and/or expect to each be awarded a pin.
